    Tomorrow Tree Fund

Biodiversity loss and climate change are inextricably linked and, to build an Earth Positive future, we must address global biodiversity decline. One of the ways we do this is through our Tomorrow Tree Fund which is focused on tree and forest conservation efforts, led by experts, organisations and grassroot NGOs all around the world.

Why are forests to important to the planet?

There’s much more to forests than trees. Forests cover 31% of the land area on our planet and are pivotal to life on Earth. Hosting much of the world's biodiversity, forests are sometimes referred to as the world’s life-support system, as they purify the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, prevent erosion and act as an important buffer against climate change.

Forests contribute to the balance of oxygen, carbon dioxide and humidity in the air. With complex and varied ecosystems, they provide habitats for 80% of the world’s land-based animals, insects and plant species. Forests also support the livelihoods of more than 1.6 billion forest-dependent people.

Despite these critical, planet-dependent benefits, forests around the world are under threat, jeopardizing life on earth and threatening the livelihood of local and indigenous forest communities.

    The One Forest Collection

Step into a world where design meets purpose with the One Forest Graphic. Adorned with a distinctive word-mark and a striking tree graphic on the chest and back, this tee is not just another piece in your wardrobe—it's a statement. Discover forest-inspired t-shirts and sweatshirts, where each style embodies the essence of community. Just as a tree stands stronger in a forest, we too are more powerful together.

    PANGAIA'S Approach to Forest Conservation

We believe in a holistic approach to forest conservation, understanding that forest ecosystems demand more than just tree planting. For us, it is important to not only plant new forests but also to nurture and support the rehabilitation of existing and degraded forests.

TREE PLANTING: By primarily planting native species, we ensure that forests thrive and keep delivering a wide array of ecosystem benefits. These types of trees are best placed to survive in the local conditions of the forest and will avoid potentially negative effects on local water cycles and biodiversity.

COMMUNITY ACTION: Our approach focuses on locally rooted initiatives where the communities are involved in the development and implementation of the project.. Our aim is to provide long-term, effective benefits that are supportive, secure and recognize the rights of the local communities who depend on the forests for their livelihoods.

By protecting native landscapes, restoring forests and supporting indigenous communities, we can help preserve and rebuild biodiversity to promote an Earth-positive future for everyone.

Tomorrow Tree Fund - A growing initiative

At the end of 2020, we launched the Tomorrow Tree fund (powered by Milkywire) to support the protection and conservation of forests, as well as their restoration. Through the Tomorrow Tree Fund, PANGAIA supports organizations across the globe who work to protect and restore forests, and to enhance and reintroduce native species of trees and plants in order to support restoration.

    A Commitment To The Future

Tomorrow Tree Fund, together with our additional reforestation initiatives, has raised and funded over $1,600,000 to support forest restoration and conservation efforts across the globe. We continue to pledge our commitment to build and sustain long-term working relationships with our partner organizations on the ground, providing them with steady financial support.

We know that if we do not recognize the link between biodiversity loss and climate change, an Earth positive future will remain beyond our reach —that’s why our efforts have been front and center at PANGAIA from day one. By championing conservation efforts led by biodiversity experts, scientists and NGOs, we can create measurable, beneficial long-term impact.

We’re on a continuing journey of reflection, discovery and action, and we’re dedicated to our goal of giving more to the planet than we take.
